The story of King AbdulAziz is like a wonderful work of art. He is regarded as one of the great leaders of our time. He did not arrive on the stage of history secretly, under cover of darkness, but in the full light of day. He fought with great courag to win back his kingdom from Al- Rashid family, which had wrongfully dispossessed his father, AbdulRahman, and occupied his throne. AbdulAziz was only fourteen when AbdulRahman was forced to leave Riyadh with his family, going to Kuwait for safety. There AbdulAziz, who had already learned to write and read, spent many years memorizing @@@@s from the Holy Quran and studying the principles of Muslim law. When the time came for him to return and possess his kingdom, he rode out against his enemies with only forty men, but they were well-armed with faith in God. He seized Riyadh by a sudden , bold attack in 1902. As soon as Riyadh was strong enough to defend itself, he moved on to take Wadi Al- Dawaser, and so became rulr over all the land from Riyadh to the Empty Quarter. The year 1912 AD.saw the end of Al-Rashid . By 1932King AbdulAziz had united most of the Arabian Penninsula.
